August 30, 2019 – The “Higher Love” single with Whitney and Kygo (produced by Kygo and Narada Michael Walden) peaked at #2 on the UK singles chart. Whitney had covered the song in 1990, released as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of her third album, I’m Your Baby Tonight. Kygo reworked the song into a tropical house track released as a single in June 2019. It became a huge international success and Whitney’s first posthumous Top Ten single. The song also was used following Joe Biden’s speech after his election as the 46th President of the United States.
