On January 27, 1991 (29 years ago today), Whitney performed her legendary version of “The Star Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl XXV in Tampa, Florida. It is still talked about to this day as being the best version of this song and was even referred to in a Google commercial during last night’s GRAMMY Awards as the “most searched Star Spangled Banner” of all time!
