Letter from Whitney
I cannot believe it has been 25 years since my first album!! Sometimes it seems like only yesterday I was singing in clubs with my mother, and then meeting with Clive Davis to go over songs. I’ll never forget when we recorded “The Greatest Love of All” and how special we thought it was, and how we hoped people would find it inspiring. I can remember the first time I hear my song on the radio!!! And I will never forget the truly special moment of winning the Grammy for “Saving All My Love For You.”
My heart is full of gratitude for the successes I’ve enjoyed over the last 25 years. I give thanks to God and my family every day for the love and strength they provide me.
I could have never done this without the support, encouragement and unconditional love from my fans all over the world.
I love you all!
“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference…”
To Clive Davis, Thank you for personal guidance, wisdom and confidence. Love, Whitney
