February 13, 1999 (24 years ago today) – “Heartbreak Hotel” from Whitney’s My Love Is Your Love album hit #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The song features Kelly Price and Faith Evans and was produced by Soulshock & Karlin, who wrote the song along with Tamara Savage. The stunning music video was filmed in Miami and directed by Kevin Bray who went on to direct many of Whitney’s videos including “I Learned From The Best” and “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay.”
