In July 1988, Arista Records officially released “Love Will Save The Day” as the fifth single from Whitney’s second album Whitney. It was produced by legendary Jellybean Benitez. Here she is performing the song at the Special Olympics opening ceremonies at Notre Dame Stadium the previous summer after album had been released.
