Khandi has gone on to become a well-known actress, starring in several productions including CSI: Miami, Treme, and she received an Emmy nomination for playing Olivia Pope’s (Kerry Washington) mother in Scandal. Khandi choreographed Whitney’s tours from 1988-1992.
