On August 11, 2012 (eight years ago today) “Celebrate,” Whitney’s duet with Jordin Sparks from the Sparkle soundtrack peaked on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart at #26. It would become Whitney’s 30th Adult Contemporary Top 40 hit. The song was released as the lead single from the soundtrack after Whitney’s passing.
