July 1991 (30 years ago) “My Name is Not Susan” was released as the fourth single from Whitney’s I’m Your Baby Tonight album. Billboard wrote at the time: “After several ballads, Houston jacks it up on a percolating jam that features one of her more assertive vocals.” The song was written by Eric Foster White (who also wrote hits for the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears) and produced by L.A. Reid and Babyface. The song had several cool remixes including one featuring Monie Love.
