On August 13, 1987 (32 years ago today), Arista Records released the second single from Whitney’s second album – “Didn’t We Almost Have It All,” written by Michael Masser and Will Jennings, and produced by Michael Masser. Approximately six weeks after its release, the song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for two weeks and became her fifth consecutive #1. The official video is of her live performance of the song at a concert in Saratoga Springs, New York.
