Whitney Houston’s ‘Queen Of The Night’ Topped Dance Chart In January 1994

Thirty years ago today (January 29, 1994), “Queen Of The Night” hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. The song was co-written by Whitney (with Babyface, Daryl Simmons, and L.A. Reid) and was the fifth and final single from The Bodyguard soundtrack. Billboard wrote, “If anyone can successfully bring house music back to pop radio, it’s Houston.”
