The soundtrack includes the hit singles “I Believe In You And Me” and “Step By Step,” along with gospel songs “I Go To The Rock” and “Joy To The World,” featuring the Georgia Mass Choir. The film, co-starring Denzel Washington and directed by Penny Marshall, grossed nearly $50 million at the U.S. box office.
