Happy Birthday Whitney! I still find it hard to believe that my girl is gone, but I know that you're in a better place. You were and always will be my favorite singer and I will always love you and the music that you were blessed to sing. I am so looking forward to seeing your final performance in Sparkle. I know it will be great as you were a great person and talent and you will be forever missed. RIP Whitney!

Happy Birthday Whitney! As I sit here reading all the comments filled with love for you, some things come to my mind. First off, I want to thank you for all of the beautiful music you have given everyone for so many years, along with giving so much of yourself. You were the type of artist that didn't just sing a song, you poured your heart and soul into every note. Secondly, while I was reading the loving comments, I had realized that we should have shown you this love before you passed away. I want to believe that you knew how loved you were, but I just wish every single one of your fans could have gathered somewhere and told you how much you and your music has impacted our lives, and how much we truly loved, supported, and prayed for you in good and bad times. Well Nippy, I will always always always love you with all of my heart, and I will continue to pray for all of your family especially Bobbi Kris and your momma. I hope that you had a wonderful birthday in heaven, and that you were looking down on all of your fans, your beautiful daughter and mother, and the rest of your family and friends, smiling that megawatt simile as we all remembered your life and celebrated your birthday! Rest easy baby girl <3 I can't wait to see you sparkle on the 17th <333

Happy Birthday Whitney...I can barely stand to stay on the site this morning for reasons I can't explain. I never stopped loving Whitney. Through everything, I always loved her. I feel like a lot of fans, - like a kindred spirit - like we were sisters - like she felt what I felt when she sang so sweetly and divinely - Whitney Houston will always be the greatest songstress that I have ever heard in my lifetime period. That is it and that is all. She was so gracious and so beautiful, her loving spirit came to us right through her music and it inspired an entire world - especially me - too bad for me that I never had the pleasure of meeting her on this earth - but we shall meet - one glorious day - rest well my beloved sister Whitney - rest well and thank you for giving yourself to us through your love and your music.

Hey Kimberlyn36, I am sorry to hear the celebration was bogus. It's not right, but it's okay. I am also sorry to hear you are dealing with a personal tragedy. Whitney always got me through the toughest times, and I'm sure she'll pull you through as well because she's always looking over you. Her love will save the day. Take care, you are in my thoughts. Peace, ~W.

I loved Sparkle! I thought it was so much better than the original and the music was really good. Jordan and the rest of the cast were outstanding, but, of course, it was Whitney who got me to the theatre and she did not disappoint. I was so pleased to see so much of her in the movie. His Eye is on the Sparrow brought me to tears. What a gift Whitney was to the world. Thank you Whitney! Thank you!
