I'm totally unashamed about loving Just Whitney! This album has some incredible gems. "Unashamed" is my favorite song on the album. Followed closely by "Things you say". And who can forget "Try It On My Own"? The way she belts on that record reminds us why we love Whitney. Classic Whitney all the way around. Good Job Whitney, and thank you.

I'm with you Xandi. I love this album also. "Try it on my own" was the first song that popped in my head after I heard about Whitney getting a divorce. Kinda wish it was released at that moment!
"Try it own my own" is one of Whitney best songs ever recorded. I'm even talking about vocally. She really put her heart into that song. I can feel what she's going through with each lyric she sings. I'm sure everyone has had a moment in their lives, when they feel they have to try it on their own.
Yes, Unashamed and Tell Me No were good songs.

She had a theme, something to say on the album, like now.
I think there are a lot of singers out there, that peek only at the charts and the fame aspect, instead of singing, because they just love it and want to inspire people...
