Really wish, Whitney could've received the same amount of love and admiration when she was alive and seeking it from her fans, family and friends! it's a crying shame how much she's adored in the afterlife. Whitney, I loved you the moment you step into the music scene back in the 80's , in your struggles in the mid 90's, and til the very end and beyond! You are one of a kind, sweetheart!! I love you....
There were many of these award statues in the big glass case of her exhibit at the Grammy Museum. I'm not surprised she's getting another one. i will definitely be watching this presentation. Wouldn't miss it. You go, Gurrl!!!
Oh, whitrabbit, I was talking about something else I had read about concerning Whitney. Yes, there were many of the NAACP Image awards Whitney received, no doubt I will be watching the awards broadcasting!!
You're right Kimberlyn. We, the millions of fans of Whitney, around the world, always we show lots of love to Whitney independent of knowing of their personal struggle. Now that everyone knows their personal suffering, they are giving value to the enormous treasure that was lost. I'm glad for the homage and recognition from the music industry, of how Whitney is great!!! Whitney always will be the best of all time!! An angel passed into our lives!!! We will always love you Whitney!!!
It's wonderful that Whitney is nominated once again, however why now after she has passed I would rather have seen her win and accept this prestigious award when she was here. won't be able to watch have to work that night. I hope Whitney wins this award if she does I wonder if her daughter will be there to accept it for her. Whitney was one of a kind entertainer, never again will we see anyone like her. R.I.P. WHITNEY
Just watched "Oprah's Next Chapter-Cissy Houston" OMG, heartbreaking!! This was a power interview with Cissy and Michael (Whitney's brother). They revealed some intimate moments with Whitney (some heartbreaking, others joyous)! You guys have to watch the taping of this powerful interview! I just sat on my couch and CRIED.....
I saw a piece of the interview. I had heard rumours before that her brother got her started on the C monster. I always felt it had to have been someone she trusted, but it couldn't have been Robyn. Every addict on some kind of speed gets mean. They get agitated and easily irritated. Nevertheless, I will always love that lady. Unconditionally, for everything she was and wasn't. I'll be ordering Cissy's book tomorrow.
You're right, Whiterabbit!! For us, Whitney is untouchable!! What matters to us is his talent and the artistic legacy that she left us. As told, the shepherdess Shirley Caesar, Whitney was like the lamb sent to the slaughter. What they did to her, God alone is judge, because she, was saved by the her heart!! Whitney always will be the best of all time!! This world is very dirty!! Now, Whitney is at peace thanks to the good God!! I Will Always Love You Whitney!!
Hey DiWhitney, how are you!? been worried, haven't heard from you. I read about what happened there at some night club. My prayers are with the families. @Whiterabbit, I ordered Cissy's and Bebe's book and can't wait to dive right in it... You ladies have a wonderful weekend!!
Kimberlyn my friend, thank you for your concern!! It really was very sad what happened in this club. Already have died one hundred thirty-five young people. We are all sad here in Brazil. We can only ask God to comfort the families of these young people. Friend, you are very special! God bless you!!
