I don't get why this song wasnt released as a primary single. It's the hottest track on the album and most contemporary dance/club rnb record. Potential to go straight to #1 at the clubs and hit #1 Billboard dance/club charts like MDB did and get the younger fans onboard. Whitney's lack of radio play isnt totally ageism but rather, wrong song choice from the get go via arista/sony/Clive.
This song has the most hits on it's youtube clip from her tour and has gotten the most positive feedback from her fans. Arista/Sony please release this as the international single with a hot video. This song is a HIT! Dump'nothing but love', that's good but for the lovers is the bomb!
Whitney looks great in it, she can perform it and the little dances she does sets it off.

This is the song from your new album that I've been listening to over and over again. This song was made for you at this time. It has ATTITUDE and you deliver! "This song is for anyone who believes in love." I cannot explain how much I love to hear you singing it live here! I love listening to it in my car and in the mornings before I go to work just dancing to it in my underwear, lol. I hope you make one HELL of a video for it that will make the people talk! I knew this song was the ONE when I listened to your album the first time! By the way, I pre-ordered your album off iTunes back in August '09.

Looking at the entire lifespan of any singer known to man, it is Whitney Houston who has proven time and time again that she is The Voice! I pray to God she delivers a Whitney Live album in the future. I will cherish it forever and let my Grandchildren know someday of this divine gift that Clive delivered to my generation and theirs. For now, I'm only 26, I remember things like Whitney's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at Super Bowl 25. Who knew our national anthem would become a pop hit! I saw her sing "I Love the Lord" once in Europe in a video online. Only God can give such an ability. Anybody ever hear her sing "A Song for You" in her green jumper when she was singing for men in the service back in the early '90s? Whitney has power in her voice! Back during the Gulf War, we could have put her on the Frontline and asked her to let 'er rip!!!! She would've helped us win the war a lot sooner and we probably wouldn't of had to go back over there ever! She is still a major fight! I hope after the Lord comes back that we have that Voice still helping us fight the Spiritual Fight! 1 Timothy 6:12 - Fight the good fight of faith!
If you want For The Lovers as a single as I do, this is the place to raise your voice be heard to Whitney, Clive, and Arista. so as for me, I want for the lovers to be a single, it is the best up tempo track on I Look To You:)
I totally agree with these write ups. For The Lovers is the best song of the album, i have listened to it for like 500x am not kidding. All my friends love this song, pls pls release this song Arista with a good dance video, i'd die 4 this song.
