That was the best movie i have seen in a long time. To Whitney and Jordan job well done, and also the others who played in the movie. Everyone needs to go see it..

It is bittersweet to watch "Sparkle", to know that Whitney is gone away from us, yet having sweet memories of her beauty and songs and films like "The Bodyguard."
Good luck to Jordin in her career, she is a beautiful and talented singer, like Whitney....

Whitney Houston's talent will live forever! I don't care what anyone else thinks she was, is and always will be one of the greatest voices that ever lived. I too, am glad she is in the remake of Sparkle. It is a greater movie now because of Ms. Houston. I loved the original and I love this remake because we have one more chance to see her do what she did best. Giving of herself, sharing with others and making you feel deeply the passion of her artistic ability and expression. What a body of work she leaves to the ages. I rejoice in the star that is everlastingly Whitney Houston.

Down with drugs you stole away from us our Whitney we will never forget.

I just returned from the movie "Sparkle" over an hour ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The storyline really drew me in. Those dazzling stage outfits, the choreography, the music -- *everything* -- I loved it all. Plus, I was so proud to learn that the movie was largely based in Detroit, my hometown. Whitney did an excellent job, and I'm so glad I was able to support the movie its opening weekend.

The movie had a great cast, and Jordin Sparks's performance was wonderful.
I loved the Curtis Mayfield classics the ladies performed to, including the hit "Giving Him Something He Can Feel."

My heart lit up when Whitney first appeared on screen, and I had to fight back tears at the very end when the words "In Loving Memory Of Our Friend Whitney Houston" followed the credits. (I sat patiently waiting for a tribute.) I said a silent prayer for her and gave thanks for the time she spent touching the hearts of people around the world. She gave us her final performance in "Sparkle," and she left us a body of work that will live on forever.

Job well done, Whitney. We will always keep your memory alive. God bless you.

I just saw SPARKLE today. It was so, so good and Whitneys voice is awesome in it. I loved seeing her. I did cry through the entire 2nd hour of the film It is joyful and painful all at the same time to see her. She did a fabulous job in the movie and should be given massive credit for her work involved in the film. The cast was really good. You can see how Jordin really loved Whitney. It was very emotional.
I am also reading Bebe Winans book "The Whitney I Knew". It is really so good.
It is funny, sad, and you can see Whitneys devotion to her friends and family. And she was really very funny. I have found so much more about her by reading it, I am 2/3's through it and I only love Whitney more and more. She had a flawless voice, but was a very loving person and a lot like us in many ways. I so wish I could of met her. I will always feel she is a sister of mine.

Love you Whitney Elizabeth--what a beautiful name for a beautiful woman

I'm hearing great reviews about "Sparkle" and can't wait to see it this Saturday!! Like many others, I will be a hot mess once I see my lady Whitney appear on the big screen. I’ve been doing so much better with my emotions and now I know for sure my heart will sink into my chest and a plethora of emotions will reappear. Oh Whitney can’t wait to see you again!

Definitely her final role.

I wish the movie could have been more meaningful. Those of you reading this, if you were thinking to see the movie, do go and see it if only for her performance of
"His Eye Is On The Sparrow".

She'll bring tears to your eyes.

The rest of the film was sparse, sad, but leaves you feeling empty since Whitney is gone.

Sparkle was awesome!! I am sure I am going to see it again before it leaves the theater. Whitney was gorgeous and did a wonderful job. Jordin also did a great job.

I've seen Sparkle 5 times and I still can't get through it without crying when Whitney sings "His Eye is on the Sparrow". Whitney, you will always be missed. I hope you are leading the heavenly choir when it's my time to enter the pearly gates. You picked a wonderful cast and, together, you all made the movie shine. But you always did let others shine too. That's why we all love you so much.
