Did you know Whitney released six studio albums, one holiday album and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which went Diamond, Multi-Platinum, Platinum or Gold. Whitney is one of the world’s best selling music artists having sold over 200 million records worldwide!

Four years ago on this day, Whitney's “I Look To You” single was released. Since then, “I Look to You” has gone on to sell 5 million units worldwide, earning platinum certification in seven countries and gold certification in eight.

In honor of this year's Fourth of July, we have decided to post Whitney's spectacular performance of “The Star Spangled Banner” below.

The Movie Sparkle, featuring executive producer, Whitney Houston, and starring Jordin Sparks is nominated for BET's Best Movie Award. Tune in to the BET Awards on June 30th at 8pm EST, 7pm Central.

Recently several Russian fans came to the United States to do a trip paying homage to Whitney. Arranged by another Russian fan, Paul N., who is a travel agent - Oksana L, Ekaterina O. and Alexey A. crossed the U.S. visiting several "Whitney spots" such as The Grammy Museum, Madame Tussauds (there are figures of Whitney now in LA, Vegas, Washington D.C. and New York). They visited the New Hope Baptist Church where Whitney sang in the choir all those years ago and which also sadly, was the site of her funeral. They also visited The Whitney Houston Academy For Creative and Performing Arts.

Whitney performed a medley of "It's Not Right But It's Okay" and "I Learned From The Best" from the album My Love Is Your Love at the Grammy Awards that year.

This Dolce & Gabbana fur coat was part of Whitney's wardrobe during her My Love Is Your Love World Tour, and you can see Whitney modeling the coat in two photographs placed near it in the Grammy Museum exhibit. The European leg of her tour had to be extended due to quick sell outs and high demand. In addition, the multicolored velvet embellished jumpsuit next to it was designed by Marc Bouwer and worn by Whitney during her 1991 I'm Your Baby Tonight World Tour.

Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" was the first single released from The Bodyguard Soundtrack, and it became the largest-selling commercial single in history and stayed at #1 on the U.S. Hot 100 singles chart for a record-breaking 14 weeks. The movie also broke box office records worldwide, earning more than $410 million and establishing Whitney as a force to be reckoned with as both a singer and actress. Whitney took home three Grammys in 1993, and two of them are pictured here -- Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance Female for "I Will Always Love You." Whitney also won the night's most coveted award -- Album of the Year for The Bodyguard Soundtrack.

Whitney Houston performed with close friends BeBe and CeCe Winans during the 1989 Soul Train Music Awards wearing this fully beaded dress. To the upper left side of the dress, you can see Whitney in a photograph wearing this dress during that performance. Whitney recorded with BeBe and CeCe several times during her career and also went on tour with them, turning down other projects at times to show support for her friends.
