E! Online has put together a list of the best moments from the 2012 Billboard Music Awards and it's no surprise that the tribute to Whitney Houston received high praise. Jordin Sparks and John Legends performance was named the Best Moment of the Night and Bobbi Kristina's acceptance of the Millenium Award in her mother's honor was named Most Touching Speech.

Jordin Sparks and John Legend to Perform Moving Tribute, With Special Appearance by Bobbi Kristina and Pat Houston
The late Whitney Houston will be honored with the 2012 Billboard Millennium Award. A moving tribute dedicated to Houston will be performed by Jordin Sparks and John Legend as they take the stage to commemorate Houston’s legacy. Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, will make a special appearance to accept the award in her honor. The award is to be presented at “The 2012 Billboard Music Awards,” hosted by Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, which airs live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on SUNDAY, MAY 20 (8:00–11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

In October of 2011, Whitney Houston and Sparkle producer Debra Martin Chase gave in-depth interviews with Collider.com and other media outlets in Detroit MI on set while filming Sparkle. Whitney poured her heart and soul into the film and the following 20 minute interview shows how much thought and passion went into its creation.

The official movie poster for Sparkle was released last week. Jordin Sparks is looking radiant portraying the lead character Sparkle in a red evening gown. The poster also features Whitney, who plays Sparkle's mom and is one of the executive producers of the film. Sparkleis set to hit theaters this summer in August.
