One thing that I want to say is Thank God, "Just for today" I am clean in peace and under my addiction. Step by Step. I wish you the same that I wish to myself. SERENITY and keep walking. I love you and God love you the most... Our courage to talk about our difficulties helps people around the world. Gislene from São Paulo - BRAZIL...

The interview (part 1) was amazing, I myself am going through a seperation. Although my relationship was not abusive, I did manage to loose myself in it. Meaning my life revolved around husband and kids, and there was no me. It took me being seperated from my husband to realize I can have a life. Whitney your words spoke to many and hopefully will help them realize they don't have to stay in a relationship just because you are his wife. Whitney welcome back, can't wait to see part 2.

First of all, Whitney was beyond brave to discuss her personal matter which frankly is not any of our busines and for her to do that tells me that she is healing from several years of self inflicted trauma.

Secondly, to all of those haters that said Whitney played the victim, I would like to see you go and discuss all of your trials and tribulations in front of a national audience and lets see how well you fare out.

Thirdly, Whitney found her God again and with that you can never go wrong and he is the only one that is allowed to judge her.

Hey Whitney-
So happy to see you back and doing well! We've missed you!
Saw the the first part of the Oprah interview. You are such an inspiration- more than you will ever know. May God keep you and strengthen you.

whitney baby i thank your back ,i love u

I thnk God he has delivered you from your addiction. Your conversation will help many other addicts, I pray to realize that they, too, can overcome this evil spirit that invites folks to addiction. Drugs represent an evilness that can only end in doom, destruction and eventually death. You have been provided that delivereance before death and for that we all are thandful. You can't go back becasue it will be only be worst. Keep your faith in the frontal brain and continue to Thank God everyday!!!
I, read the entire transcript this morning because unfortunately work precluded me sitting down to watch it. I am a counselor in a high school and now worry about the things your daughter has observed and the openness she has been exposed too. I pray she can continue to place in the frontal parts of her brain, that although she was allowed to 'do whatever she desired growing up with addicted parents' there is a consequence that she doesn't want to explore by exposing her body to this drama that drugs and/or addiction will impose on your body, your life. I am confident you will continue her counseling sessions; however, if not please sign her into a group like 'children of alcoholics' (COA); I am sure there are groups called children of drug addicts. I speak with mothers all the time, and they just don't realize the influence they have over their children (good and bad behaviors that are a direct reflection of their upbringing). I pray you continue to recover and have joined a group that you will be able to relate with for life. Recover is every day; plese don't look back; look forward with the hope and 2nd chance God has afforded you. Don't let the public define what and who are are...avoid that pressue at all cost. You are somebody, a Child of the High King, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Keep your spiritual connection and continue to be a great inspiration to us all. My prayer is you will continue to allow God too order your steps henceforth. Do you remember that song? Another spiritual song I love is "For Every Mountain, You Brought Me Over, For Every Trial You Took Me Through, For Every Blessings, Halleulejah,...For This I Give You Praise

She sounds terrific!!

You "GO BABY GIRL". I knew you would make it. I prayed so hard for you. You reminded me so much of my one and only daughter. She did not win her battle with drugs. She died in a car accident Feb. 23, 2006 and I see her in you. Stay strong as I see you are. I have been there when it comes to that addiction to one's husband............God has trully blessed you and you are an inspiration to all of us....................Hazel
