'Hold Me' Teddy Pendergrass Dead

I don't think this has been mentioned elsewhere on the forum but Teddy Pendergrass, with whom Whitney collaborated on the song Hold Me in 1984 that later rounded off her first album, has died following a "difficult recovery" from colon cancer. He was 59. Very much a sex symbol in the 1970's, Pendergrass' career was somewhat compromised following a devastating car crash in 1982 that left him paralysed. He leaves behind a wife, son and two daughters.

Actually, have noticed this is now a duplicate thread. Apologies.
