I am speechless!!!!! Your performance on Oprah was AMAZING!!!!!!!! You are a true survivor!!!!!! I too was once addicted to drugs, love and a very unhealthy relationship. For people to hear about your pain, it breaks their hearts. When someone can imagine your pain in comparison to their own, it touches their soul to see you come back from the depths where those types of situations can take you to. To hear you speak about the mental abuse, being spit on; you ask yourself so many questions. Spitting on someone to me means I don't give a damn about you. How can someone that you love, someone that you carried a child for, someone that is your axis, do something so nasty and disrespectful to you and then turn around and tell you they love you, want to hold you; girl the pain is only understood by those of us that have felt it. Whitney our God is a good God and your song on Oprah, to me was a testimony that God told you to tell. Whitney, you are so blessed to have your family and your friends to support you through the transformation from that place where you were to the top of the mountain that you are on now. Girl, YOU LOOK GOOD!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your music, your courage and for your resilience.

What an amazing interview! It's been too long without whitney, and it's good to have her back!

PHENOMENAL WOMAN YOU ARE!!!!!! You are not only inspirational as an artist but as a person and I trully am overjoyed that you are back, but as you said in "Salute"; "don't call it a comeback you've been here for years"! I know that's right! I will be brief as brief as possible because talking about you I can go on FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've even written speeches about you in my college studies and with every new fact I learn it AMAZES ME! Know that you are LOVED and the world is ready for Whitney!!!!!!!!! So am I. It would mean the world to me if I could meet you while you're on tour one day, but for now I'll blog about you. God has blessed you with a wonderful gift (music) and a loving heart and I'm pleased to say I am honored to say you bring me joy with every moment of it.

I sent this to Oprah the other day about you;

First and foremost, my whole family LOVES YOU Oprah!!!!!! I know everyone tells you that, but it's TRUE! I hope I don't come off as being weird by saying this but I ADORE Whitney...my IDOL is a mere understatement of it all! I've wanted to write you for over two years now to express this, but have finally got up enough nerve to do so! Through all of her trials and tribulations I've been a fan of Ms. Houston's; not only is her music inspirational, but her personality speaks volumes as a strong black woman, as does yours Oprah. I really respect her even more so because of how she spoke in love of her relationship with Bobby- no way did she tear him down as a man or otherwise. I always wanted you to have Whitney on your show, because no one gives an interview like YOU! I wasn't surprised that she shared as much as she did with you...but I'm glad that I learned a lot about her from you doing so. Although I've never been fortunate enough to go to one of Whitney's concerts or meet her in person I'd be thrilled if you could make that happen for me one day soon! I do plan to be front row center with a backstage pass the next time she is in town. I purchased her new album the day it came out and her last track "Salute" is officially my National Anthem! Oh let me not forget, it is a GRAMMY WINNER!!!! I do hope this letter finds you and even if I'm not able to meet Whitney, or you, I'd be overwhelmed if you would read my letter on your show. I appreciate the opportunity to voice my opinion. YES, Whitney you will ALWAYS be NUMBER ONE in my book and I wish you well with all of the rest of your endeavours.

Peace and Love.

What I really loved about the Oprah interview Whitney is that you took responsibility for your own actions. It's easy to point our finger at another and try and place blame on them but in the end we are ultimately responsible for the things we choose to do. What I pray is that people not look at the interview as you putting your "personal business" out in the public, like a friend of mine took offense with, her problem if you ask me; but see that you were destined to do this interview in the way it was done not for you, but for those who looked on and are in the same situation.

It is my sincere hope that no one hears what you said regarding Bobby and begin to put him down based on that. Bobby is a man who needs help and instead dogging him out we need to pray for him just as we prayed and are still praying for you. Prayer changes things. My desire is that Bobby comes to himself and make the changes that need to be made in his life not only for himself but for his children as well because they need to become more important to him than he is to himself. I understand this is something that will only happen when he surrenders his will to God's will and that is my prayer for him.

Keep your head to the sky, look to the King of Kings always and in all things. Consult Him always in the things that need to be done in your life cause He will never lead you astray. Continue to be a blessing to the people but most of all to God.

whitney, I just posted a LONG comment on your new album, but I wish I had written it here! Sad
The gist of it was, I'm a singer and would DIE to hear some vocal advice from you!!! How do you warm up? I'd kill to see you give a vocal coaching to an up and coming young singer. Maybe on the Oprah show? Or you could just write something about it on your website?
You have a gift, but there's gotta be some technique to it!!! I know it's a gift from God and you just had it from the moment you started singing in church as a kid, but there's gotta be some way you warm up or some technique you use...please throw a music nerd a bone:) I'd just love to see you coach a singer. Much love and respect from a fello Jersey girl.

Let GOD continue to guide you...you know where you strength comes from only God can change any situation. Now you have a powerful testimony use it along with the gift God has provided you with a wonderful voice! Keep on looking to Him which cometh our help!nike shoes discount
