“Whitney Houston was an icon and a once-in-a-lifetime talent who inspired a generation of singers and brought joy to millions of fans around the world. She had a voice of unmatched beauty and power that changed music forever, and she leaves behind an indelible legacy of timeless songs that will never be forgotten. She also was an important member of the Sony Music family who spent her storied recording career with Arista Records. She will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to her daughter and her entire family.”

One of the world's greatest talents is mourned today. Truly an inspiration to so many people, young and old. Her unexpected death is a tragic one, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who love her. She was able to share a voice with the world that can never be duplicated. There will never be another Whitney. Her life, a short but influential one, will continue to be celebrated by all. Ms. Whitney Houston, an angel who has earned her wings. Sending prayers and love to her daughter, family, friends and fans.

I can remember many nights, hanging out with my sister listening to Whitney Houston's music and dancing around our bedroom. The lord gave us a fabulous gift by giving us Whitney Houston and her amazing voice. She will forever be a music icon and forever will be missed. The lord called his angel back to heaven, to sing forever, for him and her passing should be a time to celebrate her life and the acomplishments she has many in the music world. R.I.P. Whitney Houston you will never be forgotten!

I was a young teen when you let everyone in the music industry and world knew what you could do. I use to pause and replay your video "I'm your baby tonight" to the point my parents almost went nuts. Even as recent as a year ago when I had a crush on my "now" husband I played your song "I get so emotional" on the way home after seeing him at school.
You've always been a part of my life even though you would have never known that and you always will be. I was a fan in the good and bad.....I will be a fan even in the hereafter. For now, so long & sing to him Whitney!!!! Sing!!!!
