Whitney Houston's Surprise Appearance at BET's Celebration Of Gospel

On Saturday December 11th, BET taped their 11th installment of "Celebration Of Gospel" - a yearly event held on The BET Network that celebrates uplifting messages, inspired performances of song and spoken word and joyful sounds from a roster of talented artists and personalities. The event was full of amazing performers but fans went absolutely crazy when Whitney Houston appeared on stage to perform "I Look To You" with the legendary Kim Burrell (Check out a review of the show stopping performance here).

It makes me sad that you haven't had a tour in so long. I have looked up to you in your ups and downs as one of my idols. Every single time I have an audition whether for flute or a musical I just think of how amazing your voice is. I know that I can have the power to belt my voice out just as well if I just believe in myself. You have been a true hero to me for my entire life. I really hope that you decide a tour in the near future because I will be first to buy a ticket!

Whitney Houston and Kim Burrell did a wonderful job. She still has her voice. I'm glad Whitney came back. Thank you so much for blessing us again.
