Whitney's first feature film!!
Man, I love this movie!! She did a good job acting and the music is just OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Spawning some of the best music EVER to grace the music world, but hey, what else would you expect from the THE VOICE!!
My favorite scene is when Rachel and Nikki sing "Jesus Loves Me", and my favorite song is "I'm Every Woman", followed CLOSE BY "I Have Nothing"!

Yeah! I agree she did a great job acting! Whitney is an artist! She can do whatever she wants to do!
My favorite scene is when Rachel is listening to music but she can't bcuz the noise was terrible and then next scene she telling Bill about it..!

I remember when this movie first came out, it was a big thing that an African-American woman would star as a leading lady to a Caucasian Kevin Costner. But, because of Whitney's cross-over appeal, main society was more accepting. I guess the "evil" sister in the movie but have retired from show business. I haven't seen her in anything else.
I don't understand why in US racism is still there, Here in Venezuela date someone white when you're black its completely normal! I don't get it
the first time i watched this movie i was fourteen and went to the movie alone and enjoyed it but i missed a part to go to the restroom .so i have it on dvd i watch it all the time . simmone joyette

First time I saw this movie I was stationed in California. Went to see it with some Army buddies of mine. For a bunch of hard core Soldiers (male & females) we got teary eyed when we thought "Frank" was dying after he got shot. That also happend to be my favorite part of the movie. Its when "Frank" looks at "Rachel" and she is like nooo why have I treated this man the way that I have when I love him (body language). Second time I went to see it, I was on leave and went to Florida to visit my parents and took my mom to see the movie, and still got teary eyed when that scene came up knowing how it was going to end.
As for who is "Fletcher's" father. The world may never know.
Well, in germany all the movies get dubbed over and as I mainly knew her singing voice I was quite surprised, when I heard her speaking voice, although I´d seen a few interviews - it was so soft I cannot describe it-like velvet... the german voice isn´t that good
I love the scene when they dance and she´s starting giggling at the lyrics:
Rachel: This is kind of cowboy song, hu?
Frank: Yeah. R: giggle
Frank: What?
Rachel: Nothing... I mean it´s so depressing - Have you listend to the words?...
and then later when the glass fell
Rachel: Don´t worry. Don´t worry - I´ll protect you.

she made me feel like she was feeling it!
It seems that everything Whitney touches (movies or music) she brings to life. There's just something about her that makes you feel every emotion that she feels.

a truly great movie! every time it comes on tv i have to stop whatever i'm doing and watch. i guess it's just one of those movies you can watch over and over and never get tired...

I do think it's funny when Kevin Costner (Frank Farmer) says: 'I can't sing' but now he is a professional singer!

I think this film came out the year i was born (1992) I watched it when i was about 7 with my nan & loved it. Whenever i used to stop like everyweek i would always watch it, everyother kid loved Disney movies i just wanted to watch Whitney in this hahaha!
The music the script the actors everything about this film is just amazing 
'the bodyguard' made my chilhood and changed my mind about interracial relationship.

I just joined the forum and I wanna say - "The Bodygiard" is my favourite movie I've ever seen! I watched it again this night and was so exited like for the first time in 1992, when I was 13 years old. On that day we had free from school and I went with some of my friends to see the new movie. I loved both - Whitney and Kevin Costner - from the very first minute and ... for my entire life!
My favourite scene - when they went for a walk and she asked him on a date
My favourite song - "I will always love you"

This has gotta be my most favourite film EVER! I remember a girl at volleyball camp blaring out the songs on the cd player from the bodyguard soundtrack, i loved it! Hadn't heard of the bodyguard until then, soon as i got back home i ordered the dvd and haven't stopped watching it since! Whitney you RULE!!!!!! xxx
Hello everybody, I`m new here ,but I`m loving this great space and love Whitney, I`m her lovely fan, I love everything about her: singing, acting ,speechings, everything. I also would like to say that Bodyguard is one of my favourites movies and I´d like to see a new movie with Whitney , maybe another Bodyguard, the second part, who knows?? I think everything is possible , cuz She is very, very romantic, beautiful and talented and she will always love us, I know that.

I do know the end but my tears always running down.
Lord gave Whitney Houston so many talents and she gave us the chance to see. It is so great.
